Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software testing experience.
- Significant hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Community Cloud).
- 2+ years of experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright.
- Understanding of Salesforce security concepts (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules).
- Experience with API testing using Postman (Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs).
- Experience with Xray or similar test management platforms integrated with Jira.
- Practical experience in Agile environments and Salesforce deployment processes.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Copado, or Flosum.
- Basic understanding of Apex and SOQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review manual test cases for Salesforce customizations and identify automation opportunities.
- Improve automated testing throughout development, system testing, and regression cycles.
- Review user stories and functional requirements for comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute manual test cases and scripts using tracking tools.
- Maintain test plans, scenarios, and automation scripts.
- Develop test data management strategies.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce testing environments including Sandboxes and Scratch Orgs.
- Participate in the administration of QA processes and CI/CD technologies.
- Design and execute automated functional tests focusing on Salesforce Lightning interfaces and Shadow DOM.
- Perform API testing for Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs.
