Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or similarly complex industries.
- At least 3 years of experience managing complex strategic accounts, ideally involving large academic medical centers, hospitals, or sophisticated healthcare systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in project management and translating strategic priorities into effective execution.
- Recent U.S. healthcare experience within the past five years, with a strong understanding of healthcare ecosystems and institutional decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans while working effectively within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Ability to engage credibly with clinical, administrative, operational, financial, and executive stakeholders.
- Must reside within the assigned territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of approximately 100 miles from the territory border.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60–80% across a broad geographic territory, including travel by car and air.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic account management activities across priority healthcare systems, academic centers, hospitals, and affiliated organizations within the assigned New England territory.
- Champion institutional advocacy to support formulary adoption and appropriate use of approved neuroscience products.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior leaders and key decision-makers across sophisticated healthcare accounts.
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine strategic account plans aligned with customer priorities and broader business objectives.
- Partner with administrative, clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders to improve care pathways, treatment protocols, workflows, and patient access.
- Lead cross-functional teams in aligning priorities, updating business plans, and achieving objectives across priority accounts.
- Conduct regular customer needs assessments and translate insights into actionable recommendations, innovative solutions, and new opportunities.
