Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 8 years of clinical experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments.
- At least 2 years of clinical project management experience with ownership of clinical study delivery.
- Strong understanding of study planning, site management, monitoring, and vendor oversight.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ICH/GCP and ICH E6 guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using operational metrics and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing and developing direct reports is preferred.
- Experience with Phase 2–3 studies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end operational leadership for clinical studies from study start-up through close-out.
- Identify study- and program-level risks and establish mitigation strategies.
- Develop and own study-level operational plans covering monitoring, vendor oversight, and timelines.
- Lead feasibility assessments, site selection, and enrollment planning.
- Forecast resources and manage study budgets in collaboration with Finance.
- Monitor operational metrics and performance data to support decision-making.
- Manage CROs, functional service providers, and external vendors.
- Oversee site management, monitoring activities, and CRA performance.
- Coordinate the development of clinical documentation including protocols and study reports.
