Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 1+ years of experience building customer-facing agentic systems in production.
- Strong backend software engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, Rust, or a similar backend language.
- Strong understanding of agentic architectures and their associated tradeoffs.
- Experience designing, building, and evaluating production RAG systems.
- Strong experience with agent evaluations and observability.
- Experience working with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
- Ability to adapt, iterate, and ship features quickly.
- Strong desire to work in a low-ego, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stay current with advancements in LLMs and the agent space.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data structures optimized for agents, including the TRACE graph, embeddings, and semantic search.
- Collaborate with detection engineers and threat hunters to encode domain expertise into agentic systems.
- Build and maintain automated evaluations and benchmarks to enable rapid iteration without regressions.
- Ensure agent systems behave safely and as expected.
- Provide technical feedback and guidance to other engineering team members.
- Develop and improve non-deterministic, agentic systems.
- Support additional backend systems as needed in a startup environment.
