Requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Current certification from American Translators Association (ATA) OR DSHS LTC.
- Alternative to certification: Academic degree or formal translation certificate.
- Two years of professional translation experience.
- Verification of passing a written language fluency exam.
- Fluent in English and target language.
- Experience using modern CAT tools.
- Proficiency with PC and MAC formats, including MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and XML.
- Ability to use Adobe Acrobat markup tools.
- Reliable desktop/laptop with dedicated, secure, high-speed internet.
- Agree to participate in mandatory two-person quality assurance workflow if not certified.
- Adhere to Prisma's Master Service Agreement (MSA) and addenda.
Responsibilities
- Provide purely human written translations using provided CAT tools.
- Adhere to project work instructions, glossaries, and reference materials.
- Ensure content style and register are culturally and linguistically appropriate.
- Perform quality checks to ensure translations are error-free and accurate.
- Deliver completed work by specified deadlines and within project budgets.
- Review and mark up target language PDF files for accuracy using Adobe tools.
- Maintain timely communication with the team.
- Participate in quality management processes such as CARs and RCAs.
- Protect sensitive information including PHI, PII, and SBU.
