- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic and innovative thinking.
- Demonstrated experience building relationships with key media outlets and new media creators.
- Experience building and managing executive communications strategies.
- Proficiency in securing speaking opportunities and building social media presence for executives.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Experience in outdoors, sports, or travel industries is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage and evolve communications for Boatsetter and Getmyboat, identifying opportunities for differentiation.
- Develop big picture comms strategy and manage day-to-day execution.
- Serve as comms lead across thought leadership, SEO/AEO, campaigns, and new media.
- Cultivate relationships with top-tier journalists, newsletter writers, and podcasters.
- Generate high-impact coverage across business, consumer, and lifestyle/outdoor press.
- Partner with the CEO on thought leadership including interviews, speaking opportunities, and social media presence.
- Collaborate with marketing and product managers to bring campaigns and features to market.
- Manage communications from strategy to execution for product launches, milestones, and data reports.
