Requirements
- High School diploma required; college coursework in finance or communications is a plus.
- 1+ year of experience in customer service or financial services.
- Proven ability to explain complex financial topics in plain English.
- Comfortable with numbers, computers, and learning new systems.
- Ability to earn a PFE Certified Debt Management Professional credential within 6 months.
- Must have a quiet, private, and distraction-free workspace.
- Hard-wired internet connection via ethernet cable required.
- Must be able to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Must be able to speak clearly on the phone for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, screen-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their engagement in the Debt Management Program.
- Explain payment structures, creditor rules, and provide budgeting tips to clients.
- Monitor client accounts proactively and reach out to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Counseling, Creditor Relations, and Disbursement teams to address client needs.
- Identify risks to improve client retention and re-engage inactive clients.
- Stay current on creditor guidelines and industry updates.
- Encourage clients to utilize self-service tools and provide feedback to improve the client experience.
