Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, Nursing or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical case management experience within a managed care organization or health insurer with Medicare Advantage.
- Combined experience facilitating live, virtual, and hybrid classrooms in a corporate healthcare or managed care setting.
- Demonstrated experience with NCQA case management accreditation standards, audit preparations, and HEDIS quality metrics.
- Experience building QA audit tools, analyzing performance metrics, and creating remediation plans.
- Proven background in adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Proven track record of building comprehensive training curriculums from scratch.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or Public Health (MPH) is preferred.
- Certified Case Manager (CCM) or American Case Management Association (ACMA) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct live, virtual, and recorded training sessions for new hires and existing staff on case management programs and workflows.
- Collaborate with leadership to map, develop, optimize, and manage departmental clinical workflows.
- Author and maintain clear, step-by-step job aids, reference guides, and desktop procedures.
- Standardize, review, and control version history for all internal clinical and operational documentation.
- Build, organize, and maintain the department SharePoint site to ensure easy access to training assets.
- Incorporate NCQA, CMS (Medicare), and DHA (TRICARE) regulatory requirements into all training materials.
- Audit staff documentation post-training to identify knowledge gaps and implement remedial coaching.
