Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical case management experience within a managed care organization or health insurer with Medicare Advantage.
  • Combined experience facilitating live, virtual, and hybrid classrooms in a corporate healthcare or managed care setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with NCQA case management accreditation standards, audit preparations, and HEDIS quality metrics.
  • Experience building QA audit tools, analyzing performance metrics, and creating remediation plans.
  • Proven background in adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Proven track record of building comprehensive training curriculums from scratch.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or Public Health (MPH) is preferred.
  • Certified Case Manager (CCM) or American Case Management Association (ACMA) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and conduct live, virtual, and recorded training sessions for new hires and existing staff on case management programs and workflows.
  • Collaborate with leadership to map, develop, optimize, and manage departmental clinical workflows.
  • Author and maintain clear, step-by-step job aids, reference guides, and desktop procedures.
  • Standardize, review, and control version history for all internal clinical and operational documentation.
  • Build, organize, and maintain the department SharePoint site to ensure easy access to training assets.
  • Incorporate NCQA, CMS (Medicare), and DHA (TRICARE) regulatory requirements into all training materials.
  • Audit staff documentation post-training to identify knowledge gaps and implement remedial coaching.
