Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of experience in finance, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong expertise in clinical trial finance, clinical site budgeting, and vendor payments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain complex financial models and accrual forecasts.
- In-depth knowledge of SOX compliance, internal financial controls, and audit readiness.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or Agiloft.
- Ability to analyze complex operational data and develop reporting dashboards.
- Experience in clinical business operations and project management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly reconciliation of global investigator grant expenses, aligning payments, accruals, and liabilities.
- Oversee Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders to ensure alignment with study budgets and forecasts.
- Perform study- and portfolio-level Budget vs. Actuals analysis to identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models for cash-flow projections, accrual forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Own the Clinical Site Payments KPI framework and dashboard development for improved financial reporting.
- Ensure adherence to SOX controls and lead preparation for quarterly external audits.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Treasury, Clinical Operations, and Sourcing to drive process optimization.
