Requirements
- Active CPA license.
- 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including direct exposure to both high-growth private companies and public-company environments.
- 3+ years of Big Four public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research complex issues.
- Proven experience leading close processes in high-transaction-volume environments.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
- Familiarity with modern finance and accounting technology (e.g., Ramp, Brex, or ERP platforms).
- Experience working cross-functionally on strategic decisions.
- Experience with crypto accounting or digital assets is a plus.
- SQL experience is a plus.
- Experience with international accounting, multi-entity consolidations, or M&A is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process end to end.
- Lead technical accounting research and documentation across complex areas such as revenue recognition and business combinations.
- Lead financial reporting activities, support external audits, and strengthen the internal controls framework.
- Manage intercompany accounting and consolidated financial statements across domestic and international entities.
- Evaluate, implement, and improve accounting systems, ERP tools, and automation.
- Partner with Legal, Product, and Business Development teams on strategic initiatives, product launches, and M&A.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies for crypto-native and digital-asset-related activities.
