Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation
- Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
- Knowledge of Value Based contracts
- Knowledge of Medicare members, claims, and revenue
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, or Python preferred
- MAAA and/or ability to issue Statements of Actuarial Opinion preferred
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-actuarial audiences
- Highly collaborative
- Self-provided internet service with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Dedicated workspace to protect PHI/HIPAA information
Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and market data for strategic operational decisions.
- Support the design, implementation, and management of vended complex value-based care initiatives.
- Perform actuarial modeling of value-based care performance expectations.
- Ensure data integrity by developing and executing processes and controls around data flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis.
- Influence department strategy through technical analysis and insights.
- Establish metrics and provide data analyses to support business intelligence.
