Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or related field or equivalent experience in accounting discipline.
- Minimum two years of general ledger and financial reporting experience.
- Working knowledge of the accounting cycle, project budgets, and financial project management support.
- Experience with Earned Value Analysis (EVA).
- Familiarity with contract review processes.
- Strong Excel and PC skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Fluency in English and the local language of the country where the position is based.
- Strong accounting, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams in all financial areas associated with running a clinical trial.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly invoicing worksheets for client billing and revenue recognition.
- Perform variance analysis comparing forecasted revenue to actual revenue.
- Review work orders and change order budgets in comparison with actual activities.
- Support the preparation of contract documents including statements of work and change orders.
- Provide support to financial reporting and general ledger functions for accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
- Respond to financial inquiries from senior management and assist with ad hoc project analyses.
