Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of general ledger and financial reporting experience.
- Working knowledge of the accounting cycle, project budgets, and financial project management.
- Experience with Earned Value Analysis (EVA).
- Experience with contract review.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Strong accounting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams in all financial areas of clinical trials.
- Prepare monthly invoicing worksheets for revenue recognition.
- Perform variance analysis comparing forecasted to actual revenue.
- Review work orders and change budgets against actual activities.
- Assist in the preparation of contract documents like statements of work.
- Support the Company Accountant with general ledger functions and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes.
- Respond to financial inquiries from the CFO and Finance leadership.
- Implement new procedures to enhance workflow and internal controls.
