Requirements
- 3+ years of end-to-end accounting experience.
- 2+ years of work experience with QuickBooks Online.
- 1+ year of experience with Sage Intacct (required).
- 2+ years of experience working with multiple clients.
- 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a reviewer or supervisory role.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Exceptional workload and team management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with US Accounting Managers and team members on a daily basis.
- Proficiency in cloud accounting tools like Bill.com, Dext, Routable, or Hubdoc.
- CPA licensure is a plus.
- 1 year of experience with Xero is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements for new clients, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement, to assess financial health.
- Identify discrepancies and develop procedures for clean-ups and catch-ups of general ledger accounts.
- Review month-end financial statements to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare the first financial close workbook for new clients, documenting all issues for resolution.
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes for multiple clients, ensuring timely and accurate transaction recording.
- Maintain up-to-date client books using accounting software, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Reconcile bank and accounting ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Process accounts payable invoices using bill-pay systems, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Handle payroll journal entries, ensuring accurate recording of payroll expenses and compliance.
- Prepare, analyze, and review month-end financial statements and supporting schedules to provide financial performance insights.
