Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, business operations, management consulting, or investment banking.
- Experience in lending, credit cards, consumer finance, or related financial services strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience owning a P&L or the financial narrative of a business unit at a senior level.
- Strong financial modeling and unit economics capabilities, specifically regarding lending/credit metrics.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
- Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot to improve finance workflows.
- Ability to influence non-finance leaders across Product, Credit, Risk, and Marketing.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems.
- Excellent communication skills, including comfort presenting to executive and board-level stakeholders.
- Experience with Databricks or Aleph is a plus.
- MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the Credit Card P&L, including monthly forecast-versus-actual reporting, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
- Serve as the primary finance partner to Credit Card leadership, translating operational decisions into financial implications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit economics models covering CAC, LTV, contribution margin, portfolio yield, and delinquency.
- Evaluate product, pricing, acquisition, and portfolio strategy initiatives using financial analysis.
- Lead Credit Card inputs into annual planning and quarterly reforecasts.
- Partner with Product, Credit, Risk, and Marketing teams to build business cases for new initiatives.
- Identify and implement AI-enabled finance workflows using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot.
- Build and maintain dashboards and automated reporting infrastructure for decision-ready performance metrics.
