Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, bizops, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including expertise in unit economics like CAC, LTV, and loss rates.
  • Demonstrated experience managing P&L or business unit financial narratives at a senior level.
  • Proficiency in SQL; experience with Databricks or Aleph is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to improve financial analysis and reporting efficiency.
  • Proven ability to influence and build trust with non-finance leadership across product, risk, and marketing.
  • Strong strategic thinking and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to executive and board-level audiences.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or related) preferred.
  • Lending, credit card, or consumer finance experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly forecast-vs-actual process, variance analysis, and reporting for the Credit Card business unit.
  • Serve as the primary finance partner to Credit Card leadership, translating operating decisions into financial impact.
  • Build and maintain unit economics models to evaluate product pricing, credit initiatives, and portfolio performance.
  • Lead annual planning and quarterly re-forecast cycles for the Credit Card business.
  • Collaborate with credit and marketing teams to evaluate new business initiatives through data-backed analysis.
  • Identify and implement AI-driven workflows to automate reporting and accelerate financial modeling processes.
