Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience in ecommerce, marketplace, or consumer product businesses.
- Hands-on experience owning a consumer storefront across homepages, category pages, product detail pages, and catalog systems.
- Proven experience improving consumer conversion funnels with measurable results.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership, including responsibility for revenue, margins, and profitability.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data, challenge assumptions, and turn insights into business decisions.
- Strong commercial instincts for identifying market opportunities and developing business cases.
- Experience collaborating with product, design, engineering, and data science teams to launch consumer-facing products.
- Demonstrated ability to set ambitious goals and work with high autonomy.
- Hands-on Shopify experience is a strong advantage.
- Experience with subscription business models, AI/ML-powered personalization, or veterinary/health ecommerce is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the ecommerce P&L across prescription and non-prescription products, setting targets and driving performance across revenue, margin, and profitability.
- Define and execute the ecommerce product strategy, identifying high-value opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, platform data, and commercial performance.
- Lead the complete storefront experience, including homepage, collection pages, product detail pages, merchandising, promotions, bundles, subscriptions, and other selling mechanisms.
- Drive the full reimagination of the ecommerce storefront from concept through execution, working closely with creative, UX, product, and engineering teams.
- Own the consumer conversion funnel from landing through checkout, establishing a testing roadmap and using quantitative and qualitative insights to improve conversion and customer experience.
- Manage the product catalog and underlying product data, including item metadata, onboarding, performance reviews, assortment decisions, and product lifecycle management.
- Develop assortment and merchandising strategies across prescription and OTC categories.
- Evaluate and recommend CMS, catalog, and item-management technologies.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and emerging categories to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with AI and data teams to develop personalized product recommendations using health and veterinary records.
