Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in IT engineering, IT operations, systems administration, or identity engineering.
- Proven experience as an owner of an identity provider like Okta, managing SSO, groups, and lifecycle workflows.
- Hands-on experience with modern MDM tools like Workspace ONE for provisioning, patching, and configuration enforcement.
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace administration.
- Deep technical experience with macOS endpoint management.
- Demonstrated ability to improve operational workflows through automation, reporting, or internal controls.
- Excellent writing skills for technical documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Strong ownership, judgment, and ability to prioritize under ambiguity.
- Desire to remain hands-on in an individual contributor capacity.
Responsibilities
- Own identity and access engineering in Okta, including group strategy, SSO configuration, and lifecycle automation.
- Run endpoint engineering across a macOS-first fleet in Workspace ONE, covering provisioning, patching, and compliance reporting.
- Administer Google Workspace and Slack at scale, managing user lifecycles, permissions, and governance patterns.
- Bring the SaaS estate under governance by tracking ownership, access, and costs.
- Build automation to handle onboarding, deprovisioning, and device compliance to reduce manual IT workload.
- Translate security and compliance requirements into IT controls that generate audit evidence.
- Serve as the technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues and engineer permanent solutions.
