Requirements
- Active NMLS/MLO licensing.
- At least two years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes, customer qualification, credit review, and pre-approval.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented to manage multiple priorities in a metrics-driven environment.
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability for lead follow-up.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PDF software, and cloud platforms.
- Basic mathematical skills and strong data-entry capabilities.
- Demonstrated customer-service mindset and ability to handle sensitive interactions.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to integrity.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary customer contact for licensed activities on behalf of the loan originator.
- Support lead-to-contract activities by responding to new leads within 20 minutes and managing appointment conversion targets.
- Maintain lead trackers and customer databases while sending pre-qualification links.
- Assist with collecting Uniform Residential Loan Application (1003) information and supporting documentation.
- Review customer credit scenarios, run credit reports, and prepare initial fee worksheets.
- Monitor pre-approved clients and referral sources through status updates and follow-up calls.
- Provide pricing and rate information and support rate-lock communications.
- Maintain relationships with referral sources through professional communication and follow-up.
- Coordinate marketing materials and manage email marketing campaigns.
- Ensure records are accurate and perform administrative data entry using Microsoft Office and cloud platforms.
