Requirements
- Recent experience in the mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor, or loan officer.
- Proficiency in Encompass loan origination software.
- Knowledge of lending terminology.
- Ability to speak with borrowers regarding lending requirements.
- Proven customer service ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the MLO in production and marketing efforts.
- Assist the MLO in co-managing the pipeline for current closings.
- Communicate with new potential customers and assist them with the application process.
- Review and analyze income and asset documentation to ensure it supports Encompass data.
- Follow up on leads and create marketing collateral.
- Assist MLO with pricing, loan structuring, and guideline assistance.
- Disclose loans accurately and manage the signature process.
- Review files for completeness, manage disclosure tracking, and update conversation logs in Encompass.
