Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- BLS certification required.
- Two years of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in customer service, reception, and data entry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication.
- Solid time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- AAMA certification preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed for annual influenza clinics.
Responsibilities
- Support occupational health programs including workers’ compensation, infection control, immunizations, and respiratory fit testing.
- Submit orders for employee testing such as drug and alcohol screens, laboratory blood tests, and radiological exams.
- Coordinate the annual influenza program and travel to attend influenza clinics.
- Conduct respiratory fit test and PAPR training for clinics.
- Develop educational materials related to employee health programs.
- Perform data entry and generate reports to maintain employee medical records.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, DOH, and other regulatory agency requirements.
