Requirements
- 5 years experience leading successful implementations of COTS software/platform-based solutions for Tier-1 government clients.
- 5 years experience leading projects of $1M+ budget, 12+ months duration, and involving multiple government departments.
- BA or BS in a technical discipline, or similar technical degree program.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects at various stages of delivery.
- Strong technical background with enterprise-class software delivery experience.
- Skilled at using formal project management tools (e.g., MS-Project, Visio).
- Strong analytical skills and experience managing technical and project management issues.
- Ability to interact and communicate with CxO-level personnel.
- Ability to travel up to 50% percent of the time.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Permitting and Licensing knowledge is desired.
Responsibilities
- Manage engagements start-to-finish by applying standard and accepted project management principles.
- Lead project planning and budgeting while directing the work streams of cross-functional project teams.
- Drive on-time and on-budget completion of projects and implement tracking and reporting metrics.
- Identify project risks and develop/execute mitigation strategies within a defined escalation path.
- Foster collaborative communications with clients and stakeholders as the first point of escalation.
- Support the Regional Director in executive steering committees.
- Lead and support collaboration across internal stakeholder groups including Consultants, Architects, and Product.
- Support business development initiatives, including proposal development and budget estimation.
