Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years managing registered nurses or other healthcare professionals.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare or clinical operations, including scheduling and workflow management.
- Hands-on experience working in and configuring an EMR/EHR system.
- Direct experience in telemedicine or virtual care operations.
- Experience developing or maintaining clinical protocols, standard operating procedures, and clinical policies.
- Ability to manage multiple clinical, operational, and administrative workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage a team of registered nurses and other clinical staff, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Own scheduling, coverage, and workflow management for the telemedicine clinic, resolving operational bottlenecks.
- Serve as the operational owner of Carrot's EMR, including configuration and maintenance of clinical content.
- Manage the relationship with the external provider staffing vendor, ensuring accountability for coverage, documentation, and responsiveness.
- Develop and maintain clinical protocols, SOPs, policies, and provider playbooks.
- Support quality assurance programs, including chart reviews and quality metric tracking.
- Monitor and report on operational KPIs like visit volume, wait times, no-show rates, and SLA compliance.
