Requirements
- Board-certified physician (MD or DO) in Psychiatry with significant SUD experience, or Internal/Family Medicine with Addiction Medicine subspecialty certification.
- Active medical licensure in at least one US state (multi-state/IMLC preferred).
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as needed.
- DEA registration and state-controlled substance license (or in process).
- Experience in telemedicine and comfort with digital health platforms.
- Proficiency in an AI-augmented clinical environment.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills.
- Commitment to 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive SUD care via virtual visits, including assessments, diagnosis, and medication management for SUD and co-occurring conditions.
- Prescribe and monitor Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), including naltrexone and Suboxone.
- Address concurrent mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders.
- Utilize Atlas, the AI-native EHR, to manage documentation and clinical decision support.
- Collaborate with counselors, coaches, and operations teams to deliver coordinated care.
- Participate in case reviews, journal clubs, grand rounds, and peer reviews.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and manage patient referrals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to protocol refinement.
