Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or approximately 2–3 years of equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Professional experience managing human or machine translation and post-editing projects.
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional language (e.g., Canadian French, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, or Arabic).
  • Experience with Translation Management Software (TMS).
  • Familiarity with content management and learning management systems.
  • Working knowledge of GitHub and version-control practices.
  • Familiarity with technical content and web technologies, including JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written communication and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to use AI-powered tools for content creation, translation, and quality assurance.
  • Continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage localization projects and course package translation requests from initial requirements gathering through successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify localization gaps, troubleshoot translation issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners to manage localization deliverables, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Develop, conduct, and track translation quality programs while monitoring localization issue trends.
  • Analyze localization workflows and content localizability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Create, maintain, and refine standard operating procedures and external-facing technical documentation.
  • Monitor publishing queues and review, edit, and publish content in accordance with technical writing standards.
  • Use data tracking tools to produce actionable insights that support operational decisions.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools for translation and quality assurance while validating outputs for accuracy.
