Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or approximately 2–3 years of equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Professional experience managing human or machine translation and post-editing projects.
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language (e.g., Canadian French, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, or Arabic).
- Experience with Translation Management Software (TMS).
- Familiarity with content management and learning management systems.
- Working knowledge of GitHub and version-control practices.
- Familiarity with technical content and web technologies, including JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to use AI-powered tools for content creation, translation, and quality assurance.
- Continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage localization projects and course package translation requests from initial requirements gathering through successful delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify localization gaps, troubleshoot translation issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to manage localization deliverables, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Develop, conduct, and track translation quality programs while monitoring localization issue trends.
- Analyze localization workflows and content localizability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Create, maintain, and refine standard operating procedures and external-facing technical documentation.
- Monitor publishing queues and review, edit, and publish content in accordance with technical writing standards.
- Use data tracking tools to produce actionable insights that support operational decisions.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools for translation and quality assurance while validating outputs for accuracy.
