Requirements
- 5–8 years building production software with deep service ownership.
- Strong depth in at least one of TypeScript, Go, or C#.
- Solid working knowledge of Postgres.
- Solid working knowledge of AWS.
- Deep domain expertise in service interaction and data flow.
- Security awareness with a strong grasp of OWASP and sensitive data handling.
- Understanding of payment-surface threats like card testing and credential handling.
- Judgement to balance cost and value, including AI-assisted development.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to provide and seek feedback with comfort in respectful disagreement.
Responsibilities
- Own significant features and services end to end in your team's domain, architecting them for iterative, autonomous development.
- Ship production-ready, self-documenting code and set team standards for AI-assisted development.
- Apply TDD and mocks to ensure code quality and never merge untested code.
- Diagnose issues within services and across boundaries, tune monitoring, and participate in on-call.
- Identify vulnerabilities, apply secure defaults for auth/data handling, and design features with abuse protection in mind.
- Communicate blockers and dependencies proactively while driving team practice improvements.
- Mentor teammates to build redundancy and maintain technical documentation like runbooks and ADRs.
