Requirements
- 5+ years of experience shipping backend systems in production, including APIs, services, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong fundamentals in at least one core language: TypeScript, Python, or PHP.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency with containerization and CI/CD workflows.
- Proven ability to operate independently and take ownership of technical problems.
- Ability to exercise pragmatic judgment regarding architectural decisions versus shipping and learning speed.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to articulate trade-offs and advocate for technical approaches.
- Willingness to utilize AI tools as a force multiplier in daily development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship backend services that power financial products, including APIs, automation pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Own features end-to-end from problem definition and design to shipping and iterating based on usage.
- Contribute to technical direction by advocating for improved patterns, tooling, and developer experience.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to define effective solutions.
- Write clean, reliable code at a high pace while balancing quality and speed.
- Raise team standards through code reviews, technical input, and mentorship.
