Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including owning a product roadmap end-to-end and shipping student-facing learning products at scale.
  • Experience with curriculum and/or professional learning product development, including products built for adult learners.
  • Proven track record of product discovery: conducting user research, synthesizing insights, and creating prioritized roadmaps.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills: defining metrics, running pilots, and monitoring product performance.
  • Deep knowledge of CS and AI concepts relevant to K–12 CSTA standards and the AI Literacy Framework.
  • Proficiency in a text-based programming language (e.g., Python or JavaScript).
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and software teams to define requirements and ship products, including AI capabilities.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce effective vision documents, roadmaps, and briefs.
  • Understanding of best practices for equitable learning environments and student-centered pedagogy.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of two times per year for team events.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the product vision and bets across curriculum and PL in partnership with the Director of Teaching and Learning.
  • Maintain a single prioritized roadmap spanning curriculum and PL products.
  • Define product requirements, including a high-level view of content.
  • Conduct discovery through pilots, surveys, focus groups, and classroom observations to inform product direction.
  • Set and monitor goals, metrics, adoption, usage, retention, and satisfaction for product success.
  • Translate state and district requirements into product specifications.
  • Collaborate with curriculum, PL, software PMs, engineering, and implementation teams to ensure alignment.
  • Communicate product strategy and roadmap status to stakeholders and leadership.
