Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience with end-to-end roadmap ownership.
- Experience shipping student-facing learning products at scale.
- Experience with curriculum and/or professional learning product development.
- Strong product discovery track record, including user research and market synthesis.
- Fluency in using product, market, and customer data for decision-making.
- Deep knowledge of CS and AI concepts (CSTA standards, AI Literacy Framework).
- Proficiency in a text-based programming language (e.g., Python or JavaScript).
- Experience partnering with engineering teams to set requirements for tooling and AI capabilities.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Excellent written communication skills for documentation.
- Deep understanding of equitable learning environments and student-centered pedagogy.
- Must be willing to travel at least twice per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop the product vision and bets across curriculum and PL in partnership with the Director of Teaching and Learning.
- Maintain a single prioritized roadmap spanning curriculum and PL products.
- Define product needs and high-level content requirements.
- Build expertise in student, teacher, and district needs for CS and AI curriculum through discovery and data.
- Run pilots, surveys, focus groups, and classroom observations to inform product direction.
- Set goals and metrics for products and hold accountability for results.
- Monitor adoption, usage, retention, and satisfaction to act on product signals.
- Translate state and district requirements into product requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders and leadership to drive alignment.
