Requirements
- Experience building and running production AWS infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CDK, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Experience configuring networking, IAM, and container workloads.
- Proven experience designing or substantially rebuilding CI/CD systems.
- Experience creating developer tools or services used by other engineers.
- Ability to work with AI coding tools and advocate for their effective use.
- Experience carrying a pager for production infrastructure.
- Ability to build ephemeral environments or containerized local development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build ephemeral environments to replace slow, shared infrastructure and solve multi-tenant test data seeding.
- Establish 'golden paths' for building, testing, and running services.
- Implement an artifact-based deployment process and a reliable feature flag system.
- Integrate security measures like dependency scanning and static analysis into CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and manage AWS infrastructure as code.
- Create tooling for AI-assisted development including sandboxed execution and test feedback loops.
