Requirements
- 5+ years of experience on a security team.
- CISSP certification.
- Experience working in a scrappy startup environment.
- Direct experience taking a company through SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification.
- Technical foundation with a degree in Information Systems or equivalent hands-on experience in scripting, web development, or automation.
- Ability to prototype and use AI/modern tooling to solve security problems.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, partner banks, auditors, and internal teams.
- Experience in Fintech, lending, or other regulated/high-trust industries is a plus.
- Hands-on GCP security experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute the end-to-end SOC 2 program, evolve security policies, and manage the Vanta instance.
- Lead and scale the IT/TechOps function, covering MDM, onboarding/offboarding, and SaaS vendor management.
- Manage third-party security reviews and serve as the point of contact for customer and partner-bank security questionnaires.
- Configure SIEM, IDS, and vulnerability management tools to ensure proactive visibility and risk reduction.
- Collaborate with technical leadership to secure GCP cloud posture, IAM, and platform configurations.
- Partner with engineering to implement secure SDLC, threat modeling, and pipeline hardening.
- Work with AI Labs to research, build, and secure internal AI agents and security automation.
