Requirements
- 4+ years of proven experience in backend development with Golang.
- Strong understanding of GCP services and experience building and deploying applications on the GCP platform.
- Experience with microservice architecture.
- Experience with gRPC.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Git and version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be a resident of Canada.
- Ability to work during Pacific Time Zone regular business hours.
- Flexible to attend remote meetings during the evening, when required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable backend services using Golang.
- Build and deploy applications on GCP.
- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to translate requirements into efficient and maintainable code.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
