Requirements
- Experience in benefits operations, benefits compliance, HR compliance, payroll compliance, legal operations, or employment compliance.
- Strong understanding of benefits administration and statutory benefits requirements.
- Experience designing compliance frameworks and leading audits, reconciliations, or risk assessments.
- Strong analytical skills with comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and operational evidence.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify process gaps and compliance risks.
- Strong written communication skills, capable of turning complex requirements into clear documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse countries and stakeholders.
- Proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with a bias toward scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret benefits compliance requirements across countries where Remote operates.
- Oversee compliance with statutory benefits filings, mandatory reporting, and regulatory obligations.
- Conduct regular audits of benefits processes, data, vendor outputs, and operational workflows.
- Partner with Legal, Payroll, Finance, and Product teams to assess requirements and implement compliant processes.
- Design, implement, and maintain benefits compliance controls, SOPs, and audit documentation.
- Translate regulatory requirements into operational and product specifications.
- Track compliance incidents and remediation actions to improve risk visibility.
- Support vendor governance by reviewing provider processes and compliance obligations.
