Requirements
- Active, unencumbered RN license.
- Willingness and ability to hold multi-state licensure as required.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical triage or high-volume patient inbox management.
- Specialized GI nursing practice experience.
- Clinical expertise in IBD, IBS, H. pylori, SIBO, and specialized lab monitoring.
- Ability to act as lead for urgent symptom escalations and critical incidents.
- Proficiency in EHR and communication tech: AthenaOne, Salesforce, Slack, PagerDuty, and TalkDesk.
- Strong organizational skills to balance competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Execute timely clinical triage for patient-reported symptoms via secure chat, phone, and EHR tasks.
- Act as primary incident lead for urgent symptom escalation and 911 critical incident workflows.
- Manage, review, and clear high-volume lab and imaging results across clinical inboxes.
- Process medication refill requests and pharmacy inquiries according to standing orders.
- Provide comprehensive inbox support for APPs during OOO periods or caseload surges.
- Collaborate with RDs and BH providers to support multidisciplinary GI care plans.
- Monitor inbox metrics and contribute to process improvement and SOP adherence.
