Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, strategic partnerships, financial services, or commercial lending.
- Demonstrated ability to independently generate pipeline, develop relationships, and close transactions.
- Strong 'hunter' mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously.
- Strong financial literacy, including the ability to interpret financial statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, and analytical thinking skills.
- A consultative, partner-first approach focused on creating mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Ability to establish and develop relationships remotely through video, phone, and digital channels.
- Humble, collaborative, and growth-oriented mindset.
- Willingness and ability to travel 15–30% of the time for business needs.
Responsibilities
- Acquire new strategic and referral partners by originating and closing Junior Debt financing facilities ranging from $100K to $3M+.
- Identify and develop new partnerships through networking, industry research, events, and creative outbound campaigns.
- Manage inbound partnership opportunities, qualify prospects, and conduct appropriate due diligence.
- Build, maintain, and expand trusted relationships across an established partner network.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums to strengthen market reach.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to execute strategic initiatives.
- Work with senior leadership to evolve capital products, partnership strategies, and business processes.
- Travel to relevant markets, industry events, and sales meetings (approximately 15–30% of the role).
