Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or civil engineering from an ABET-approved program.
- 15 or more years of experience in the power industry.
- Owner's engineer and/or design engineer experience for power generation projects.
- Specific experience with thermal generation projects.
- Proven experience managing teams of engineers.
- Experience performing feasibility studies for power projects.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Understanding of project contracts such as power purchase, asset transfer, and EPC contracts (preferred).
- Experience in technical due diligence and design reviews (preferred).
- Understanding of power station operations and performance reviews (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals for consulting project opportunities.
- Develop consulting project execution plans to meet client needs.
- Lead project teams by providing clear instructions and technical approaches.
- Manage project hours, budget, and scope.
- Review technical deliverables such as reports and studies.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
- Travel occasionally for project site visits and client meetings.
