- Effective people management and talent development experience.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using platforms such as Martus and Salesforce.
- Ability to track, analyze, and influence local education policy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and storytelling.
- Experience managing financial budgets and grant reports.
- Commitment to radical candor and nonviolent communication principles.
Responsibilities
- Set a vision for local impact grounded in strategic clarity and evidence-based goals.
- Advance teacher leadership, voice, and advocacy aligned with the Student Opportunity Mandate.
- Co-create and revise contextualized local curricula to prepare teachers to engage with lawmakers and stakeholders.
- Execute an ambitious annual fundraising goal ranging from $350,000 to $2M.
- Build, hire, and manage a local staffing model aligned with the organization's Vision of Excellence.
- Serve as an exemplary people manager using coaching-first cultures and clear performance metrics.
- Develop and refine student and teacher-centered stories to grow the network of champions.
