Requirements
- 10+ years of project management experience in the Electric utility sector.
- Direct experience managing Electric substation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure projects.
- Advanced knowledge of electric utility construction methods, permitting processes, and regulatory environments.
- Proficiency using Primavera P6, Power BI, MS Project, SAP, and portfolio reporting tools.
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- PMP certification or equivalent training preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall project oversight for electric transmission, distribution and substation infrastructure projects.
- Lead coordination and performance monitoring across project teams.
- Manage project plans, program budgets, schedule, resource planning, and portfolio risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to align project priorities and resolve escalated issues.
- Identify, monitor, and assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are met.
- Track and report on key metrics such as cost, schedule performance, and project readiness.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.
- Identify process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and mitigate wildfire risk.
