Requirements
- 9+ years of professional software engineering experience with broad expertise.
- Strong fundamentals in designing and building complete applications, services, and APIs.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical architecture and execution for complex initiatives.
- Ability to independently navigate ambiguous or minimally defined concepts.
- Strong backend development experience, preferably with Java.
- Experience with modern frontend applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
- Proficiency in designing and integrating databases and third-party technologies.
- Strong systems-thinking, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to rapidly learn new languages and technical domains.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly design and build functional software for new product concepts, technical experiments, and strategic initiatives.
- Translate loosely defined requirements into practical technical approaches, balancing speed, security, and scalability.
- Develop backend services using Java and modern web experiences with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Evaluate and learn unfamiliar technologies, frameworks, and APIs to accelerate innovation efforts.
- Explore and integrate AI models, agents, and emerging capabilities to create meaningful value.
- Identify technical risks, test assumptions, and determine prototype feasibility for productization.
- Create technical documentation and handoff materials to transition validated initiatives to long-term engineering teams.
- Establish shared AI development patterns, including orchestration, monitoring, and prompt engineering.
- Mentor engineers and drive technical standards through design reviews and hands-on collaboration.
