Requirements
- Experience owning the vision and roadmap of a design system at scale for 40+ designers.
- Strong product sense for design systems, including managing adoption metrics.
- Hands-on experience authoring components, tokens, and patterns in Figma.
- Deep technical acumen with design system implementation, token systems, and semantic naming.
- Experience defining and evolving design system governance models.
- Expertise in AI-ready design systems, including structured documentation and codegen agent consumption.
- Strong partnership and communication skills for presenting to leadership.
- Fluent in both English and French.
- Ability to work within a 2-hour time difference from the CET time zone.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, roadmap, and governance of Purse, evolving it as a product.
- Set and uphold the quality bar for components, tokens, patterns, and accessibility.
- Maintain the Figma library and author components hands-on.
- Provide craft leadership and direction to Design System Designers.
- Drive system adoption and measure value, reporting ROI to leadership.
- Partner with the Design Ops Manager and engineering to ensure design-code parity.
