Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of driving features from design to production.
  • Strong full-stack proficiency in a statically typed backend language (Go) and frontend development (TypeScript, React).
  • Experience building for enterprise customers, including multi-tenancy, roles and permissions, SSO, audit logging, and compliance.
  • Proven experience analyzing and solving complex scale and performance bottlenecks.
  • Strong API design judgment for interfaces used by other engineers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers to identify and solve underlying needs.
  • Experience with Terraform or related infrastructure-as-code tooling.
  • Ability to collaborate across time zones, specifically with EMEA-based stakeholders.
  • Excellent technical writing skills for design documents and decision-making.
  • Experience providing substantive feedback on specifications and code reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Own features end-to-end: problem framing, technical design, implementation, rollout, and operational lifecycle.
  • Design for enterprise constraints including permissions, audit requirements, data residency, and system resilience.
  • Identify and resolve scalability and performance bottlenecks before they impact customers.
  • Manage fleet-scale infrastructure by extending public APIs and Terraform providers.
  • Work directly with customers via escalations and discovery calls to translate specific issues into generalized solutions.
  • Drive operability through observability, runbooks, and on-call participation.
  • Facilitate cross-team alignment and mentor engineers through design and code reviews.
