Requirements
- 8-15 years of experience building and operating scalable production web applications.
- Deep professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with web front-ends such as React.
- Recent experience in an SDLC using AI agents for coding.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in systems, data modeling, and complexity.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Strong sense of self-direction and accountability.
- Interest in a long-term commitment on a small team.
Responsibilities
- Execute full-stack product development for assessment authoring, delivery, and grading.
- Build educator and student-facing features and LMS integrations.
- Develop LLM-powered features including prompt architecture, auto-grading, and evaluation infrastructure.
- Perform system performance optimization and reliability refactoring.
- Manage codebase upgrades, migrations, and technical debt reduction.
- Participate in a part-time technical support rotation.
