Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, PA, or NP).
  • Clinical practice experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in hematology, specifically chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
  • At least 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in local and/or global medical roles.
  • Significant global experience in medical affairs.
  • Successful launch experience with at least one hematology or oncology product.
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end drug development process.
  • Experience leading advisory boards and engaging with scientific experts.
  • Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed, and global organization.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global medical strategies and plans for late-stage hematology assets.
  • Lead cross-functional Global Medical Teams and represent Global Medical Affairs on Global Product Teams.
  • Lead integrated evidence-generation activities including clinical studies and real-world data initiatives.
  • Partner with regional and country medical teams to cascade global strategies and align local plans.
  • Lead scientific advisory boards and build relationships with therapeutic experts and patient groups.
  • Serve as a medical subject matter expert for market access, brand, and lifecycle planning.
  • Ensure all medical activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
