Requirements

  • Advanced medical or scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MA/MS, or BA/BS).
  • 8+ years of Medical Affairs or comparable industry experience (10+ years for MA/MS, 12+ years for BA/BS).
  • Demonstrated professional experience in oncology and understanding of the treatment landscape.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence generation, clinical research, and scientific communications.
  • Experience developing and reviewing scientific abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and presentations.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic plans into measurable work plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and cross-functional influence skills.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and GCP.
  • Strong project-management capabilities and ability to operate with autonomy.
  • Willingness and ability to travel more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Co-develop U.S. Medical Affairs strategies and congress plans in partnership with Medical Affairs leadership and field-based teams.
  • Execute evidence-generation strategies across oncology tumor types in collaboration with cooperative groups, NCI/CTEP, and research partners.
  • Develop and implement strategies addressing medical education, insights, and evidence-generation needs.
  • Provide medical and scientific guidance to field-based Medical Science Liaisons regarding education, grants, and research.
  • Collaborate with internal functions including Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial Strategy.
  • Review and provide strategic input on research proposals, abstracts, manuscripts, and scientific outputs.
  • Represent the organization at key scientific meetings and engage with healthcare professionals and advisory boards.
