Requirements
- Advanced medical or scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MA/MS, or BA/BS).
- 8+ years of Medical Affairs or comparable industry experience (10+ years for MA/MS, 12+ years for BA/BS).
- Demonstrated professional experience in oncology and understanding of the treatment landscape.
- Strong knowledge of evidence generation, clinical research, and scientific communications.
- Experience developing and reviewing scientific abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and presentations.
- Proven ability to translate strategic plans into measurable work plans.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and cross-functional influence skills.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and GCP.
- Strong project-management capabilities and ability to operate with autonomy.
- Willingness and ability to travel more than 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Co-develop U.S. Medical Affairs strategies and congress plans in partnership with Medical Affairs leadership and field-based teams.
- Execute evidence-generation strategies across oncology tumor types in collaboration with cooperative groups, NCI/CTEP, and research partners.
- Develop and implement strategies addressing medical education, insights, and evidence-generation needs.
- Provide medical and scientific guidance to field-based Medical Science Liaisons regarding education, grants, and research.
- Collaborate with internal functions including Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial Strategy.
- Review and provide strategic input on research proposals, abstracts, manuscripts, and scientific outputs.
- Represent the organization at key scientific meetings and engage with healthcare professionals and advisory boards.
