Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Release Manager, ideally within environments involving live games or continuously delivered software.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex software releases across multiple teams, disciplines, and technical dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of software release management, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment processes.
  • Solid project management skills, including ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, prioritize, and track multiple release activities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to build alignment across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong leadership skills and confidence to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly to different audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to resolve issues efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing risks and release readiness.
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive release plans, including schedules, dependencies, milestones, and deployment activities.
  • Own the end-to-end release management process, ensuring adherence to policies, controls, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate release activities across engineering, QA, DevOps, operations, and change management teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related communication, providing updates on progress, risks, and business impact.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks that could affect release scope, timeline, or operational stability.
  • Partner with QA to ensure testing, validation, and acceptance criteria are met before deployment.
  • Leverage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to support efficient, reliable software delivery.
  • Analyze release performance to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
