Requirements
- 7+ years of project management experience or relevant technical/engineering certification.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of post-secondary education, military service, and professional experience.
- Working knowledge of government contract language, including Performance Work Statements (PWS) and firm-fixed-price contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to use computerized maintenance and project management systems like QuickBase, eMaint, or MaintainX.
- Understanding of accrual accounting principles for project billing.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills for interacting with government representatives.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and pass federal background checks.
- Valid driver's license with ability to perform occasional site visits and travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead recurring maintenance and minor repair activities to meet contractual, safety, and quality requirements.
- Support the Program Manager in planning, bidding, and administering task-order activities.
- Manage communications between government clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Oversee service-order development, technical reviews, and compliance with government engineering guidance.
- Monitor project budgets, revenue, and billing while coordinating with accounting teams.
- Review project schedules and look-ahead plans to manage resources and mitigate risks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project team members through performance management and guidance.
