Requirements
- Graduate degree in engineering or construction management with at least 5 years experience, or 10+ years of fueling-facility operations and maintenance experience.
- Current USACE EM 385-1-1 training or comprehensive knowledge of requirements.
- Current Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification or ability to obtain before start date.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and USACE RMS software.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical publications, contracts, and legal documents.
- Ability to travel domestically up to approximately 50%.
- Ability to obtain security badges or clearances for federal installation access.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans defining standards, inspection requirements, and testing protocols.
- Provide quality leadership and oversight to project teams, contractors, and maintenance personnel.
- Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, document, and track non-conforming work, collaborating with stakeholders for effective resolution.
- Maintain detailed quality documentation, including reports, test results, and corrective action records.
- Analyze quality data to identify opportunities for process improvement and preventive action.
- Provide training and technical support to personnel on quality procedures and standards.
