Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing software implementation projects for external clients.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-site, phased, or complex software rollouts.
  • Strong client management skills, including communicating difficult news and enforcing commitments.
  • Experience working within a billable professional services environment and managing utilization targets.
  • Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and risk-management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Based in the United States and willing to travel to client sites across North America.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with international implementation or development teams preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or related industries is an advantage.
  • ERP implementation experience, particularly with SYSPRO, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Project Operations or comparable professional services automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up new implementation projects by confirming project sizing, establishing baseline plans, and securing configuration capacity.
  • Own project schedules and milestones, monitor progress against baseline plans, identify slippage early, and re-plan activities.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for project timing, sequencing, deliverables, and implementation expectations.
  • Coordinate effectively with international configuration teams, accounting for time-zone differences.
  • Manage project scope by documenting, pricing, and routing change requests.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate project risks early with clear mitigation actions.
  • Lead projects through completion, ensuring outstanding issues are resolved and documentation is finalized for handover.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while holding stakeholders accountable for commitments.
  • Manage billable project activity and maintain utilization expectations.
