Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in life insurance, annuity distribution, national account management, or financial institution relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance and annuity products, distribution models, and partner economics.
  • Proven track record in driving sales, revenue growth, retention, and shelf placement.
  • Experience leading business reviews, firm governance, onboarding, and product launches.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional resources including Operations, Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Finance.
  • Strong ability to operate autonomously while maintaining alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and negotiating priorities within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Informal leadership experience, including mentoring and fostering accountability.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales results and operational metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, CRM platforms, and business intelligence resources.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and client engagement.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with enterprise growth objectives and partner priorities.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for financial institution, bank, and wirehouse partners.
  • Lead business reviews, planning sessions, due diligence, and governance meetings with executive stakeholders.
  • Drive revenue growth, retention, and shelf placement through proactive consultative relationship management.
  • Coordinate internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Compliance to execute cohesive account strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to translate insights into actionable growth recommendations.
  • Resolve escalated customer and advisor issues while identifying process improvements.
  • Provide informal leadership and mentorship to Relationship Managers and cross-functional colleagues.
