Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in software development and team management.
- Previous experience reporting to a Founder or Senior Leadership team, or working in small, high-growth scale-up organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of Python (at least 7+ years).
- Understanding of JavaScript and Vue.js.
- Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
- Experience with e-commerce, online marketplaces, or OTA businesses is a plus.
- Ability to work in a 100% remote, globally distributed team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide team structure and purpose through effective people management.
- Accelerate product development by streamlining processes, introducing best practices and agile methodologies.
- Monitor performance metrics to ensure quality and productivity.
- Eliminate roadblocks and resolve issues to maintain smooth workflows.
- Provide transparent and regular updates on project progress.
- Establish clear goals and guidance to manage projects efficiently.
- Actively participate in release management, including testing and deployment.
- Strive for code quality assurance and consistency.
- Recruit and hire the right talent at the right time.
- Provide strategic input on technology decisions and roadmaps.
